While trying to install the game client, if you encounter the issue “Failed to download the file," there may be a rare possibility that the download patch has a backslash character:
“\” when all columns in the link path should be “/.”
If you encounter this issue, please follow the steps below:
- Close the game launcher.
- Navigate to and delete the contents inside the folder $Patch$, which is located in the game installation folder “NCSOFT/Lineage2/$Patch$
- Open the game launcher.
- Restart the download.
